Tems appreciates Rihanna

Tems has continued to give her admirers and supporters additional reasons to be proud of her since entering the spotlight.

Remember how the singer made Nigerians proud when she appeared on the Blank Panther: Wakanda Forever Soundtrack?

For the first time since her 2016 album, Anti, Rihanna, 34, released her first new solo single, 'Lift Me Up,' for the film 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.'

Tems, Rihanna, Ludwig Göransson, and the film's director, Ryan Coogler, collaborated on the song. It is a memorial to the late Chadwick Boseman, who died in 2020 after a private struggle with colon cancer, which he was diagnosed with in 2016.

On Tuesday, October 25th, Marvel Studios released a short video on social media announcing Rihanna's inclusion on the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack.

Tems, 27, took to Instagram to express her gratitude for co-writing the song in honor of Chadwick Boseman. She went on to say that she was even more blessed to hear Rihanna do it flawlessly.

She wrote: Blessed to have written this song in honour of Chadwick Boseman and even more blessed to hear the baddest @badgalriri voice it to perfection.

Rihanna responded by going to Tems' comment section and declaring that it was Tems' writing ability that accomplished it for her.

It is the pen for me, love to you sistren’,

she replied.
