Wizkid, Nigeria's biggest music export, has created history yet again in the United States.
Ayo Balogun, better known as Wizkid, has become the first Nigerian musician to receive a RiAA Gold Certification. His fourth studio album, "Made In Lagos," becomes the first African album to be certified Gold in the United States, the world's largest music market.
Essence, Wizkid's summer hit, is also the first African song to be certified 2x Platinum in the United States. The Afrobeats GOAT now has the best-selling African album and single in the United States. See the following;
