Following his assault on a police officer, Buju is being hunted by the Nigerian Police.
We mentioned that Buju and his entourage were stopped by police officials on their way to a concert, and that Buju was then beaten. We also covered Buju's subsequent use of Twitter to boast about punching a police officer.
“I spat on a Police Officer and it Felt so good”
Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson for the Nigerian Police Force, released a formal statement in response to the news. He claims that the police officers who attacked Buju will face consequences for their improper conduct.
He also brought up Buju's tweet and asserted that Buju will undoubtedly have to account for his assault on a police officer.

@BNXN proudly tweeted that he ‘spat in [sic] a police officer’s face and it felt so good.’ He has since deleted the tweet. The police officers will be sanctioned for their misbehavior if established, while @BNXN will surely answer for his assault on a police officer. pic.twitter.com/Ie20NJRqOv
